Today, at the beginning of the 21^st century, Bergmann Wassertechnik is one of the leading services enterprise in the field of the water and installation technologies in the German North West region.
 
The company was founded in 1931 by Anton Bergmann, father of the present owner of Bergmann Wassertechnik, Hinrich Bergmann. The company is located in the place Westersander, part of the municipality Ihlow  about 6 miles south to the town of Aurich - in the center of the economic region Ostfriesland.

The company’s strength is its constant further development and enlargement. The black smith business that started more than 80 years ago, has further developed and adapted to the needs of a modern agricultural sector and 
modern housebuilding. For example the pumps that are designed within the company represent are an important part of some of the largest farm businesses in the region.  

From the very beginning, the Bergmann company has been identified with high quality services and products for farmers in the region, and in the last ten years the company’s services are expanding more and more also into the private household sector.
